Smooth Faux Wood Beams offer a sophisticated, clean-lined alternative to heavily distressed or rustic options. Molded from high-density polyurethane, these beams replicate the refined, low-variance surface of premium dressed lumber with subtle grain movement. Engineered to be entirely impervious to moisture, warping, cracking, and insect damage, they deliver long-lasting structural stability and exceptional visual appeal in modern and transitional commercial spaces.
Unlike natural lumber, our synthetic beams ensure absolute dimensional consistency, zero twisting, and a uniform finish across all production runs. Exceptionally lightweight and straightforward to install, they serve as an ideal architectural solution for concealing exposed piping, structural I-beams, or ceiling imperfections without adding significant dead load to the structure.
Sectional Joints and Seams
Lengths of 14 Feet and Greater: Shipped in multiple sections for field-assembly during installation. Section lengths are determined by our manufacturing facility to optimize freight.
Widths or Heights Exceeding 7 Inches: May feature a visible longitudinal manufacturing seam on the finished product.
Each beam is custom-fabricated to order. Please contact our US-based project support team to discuss specific joint, interlocking seam, or custom sizing requirements for your project layout.
Product Specifications & Guidelines
Installation Note: High-density polyurethane can be easily cut, routed, and drilled using standard woodworking power tools or hand saws. Always wear proper PPE (dust mask and safety glasses) when cutting synthetic materials.
Exterior Applications: While inherently moisture-resistant, exterior installations require our factory UV-inhibiting topcoat or a field-applied premium exterior clear coat to prevent long-term UV discoloration and fading.
Color Accuracy: Digital displays vary significantly. We strongly recommend ordering physical material samples prior to contract signing or submittal approvals. The cost of up to five (5) samples will be credited back upon placement of a full-sized product order.
Dimensional Tolerances: Stated dimensions reflect the product’s outer profile. Wall thickness is approximately 1 inch. Due to the molded fabrication process, allow a minimum clearance tolerance of ½ inch when boxing out existing structural elements.
Logistics: Freight (LTL) shipping costs typically start at $300 per shipment. Detailed tax and freight estimates can be generated directly within the cart section of our portal.
Return & Exchange Policy
Custom-Made Order Notice: Because each faux wood beam is custom-fabricated to your exact specifications, these products are non-returnable and non-refundable once production begins.
Damaged or Defective Items: Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. Any shipping damage or manufacturing defects must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and reported to our B2B project support team within 5 business days of delivery for an immediate expedited replacement.
Order Modifications: Changes to dimensions, finishes, or quantities can only be processed within 24 hours of order confirmation.
Payment Terms
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major corporate credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), ACH transfers, and bank wire transfers.
Commercial Accounts: For qualified B2B clients, architects, and general contractors, corporate purchasing accounts and flexible financing options are available upon credit approval.
Order Processing: Because all products are custom-fabricated to project specifications, production begins immediately upon receipt of full payment or authorized corporate purchase order (PO).
Application & Installation
Intended Use: Designed exclusively for decorative interior and exterior architectural accents. These faux wood beams are non-structural and cannot be used as load-bearing elements.
Ideal For: Modern offices, hospitality venues, retail spaces, and transitional residential interiors. Perfect for dressing up plain ceilings, framing large rooms, or cleanly concealing structural I-beams, plumbing, and electrical conduits.
Substrates: Lightweight polyurethane construction allows for secure mounting to almost any flat surface, including drywall, wood framing, concrete, or drop-ceiling grids using standard blocking and heavy-duty construction adhesive.
Customization & CAD Drawings
Tailored Dimensions: Every beam is fabricated to your project’s exact requirements, offering custom lengths, widths, heights, and 3- or 4-sided configurations to fit any design layout perfectly.
Architectural Resources: To streamline your specification and drafting process, we provide downloadable CAD files, BIM/Revit models, and detailed technical drawings for all standard profiles.
Submittal Support: For complex commercial projects requiring unique geometries or interlocking joint layouts, our engineering team can provide custom submittal drawings for architectural approval prior to production.

FAQ
- Can I order faux wood beams to a custom size?
Yes. Length, depth, width and profile are made to your drawing.
- How long can a beam be?
Long beams are made in sections that join with an invisible seam. Tell us the span and the freight route.
- What finishes are available?
Rough-sawn, hand-hewn, smooth and sandblasted surfaces, in stains from light oak to dark walnut, or painted white.
- Are custom beams structural?
No. They are decorative and cover framing. Structure remains as designed by your engineer.
- How much do custom faux wood beams cost?
The price depends on size, finish and quantity. Send your dimensions for a quote.
- How are they installed?
A wood nailer is fixed to the ceiling, and the beam is slid over it and fastened.
- Can beams be used outdoors?
Yes. The polyurea coating resists moisture and UV.
- Can you add cutouts for lights?
Yes. Cutouts and wiring channels can be made to your layout.
