John Wilson — Restaurant Owner, Portland, OR
Erected three 22-foot king post trusses in a restaurant great room without renting a crane. Saved over $6,000 on rigging alone.
Robert Brown — Framing Contractor, Eugene, OR
The simulated iron straps, gusset plates, and black bolt heads add incredible rustic authenticity to the timber joints.
David Miller — Custom Home Architect, Seattle, WA
Calculated to our exact cathedral ceiling pitch from our blueprints. The truss rafters mated with the ceiling drywall with zero gap.
James Davis — Luxury Builder, Bend, OR
Our clients wanted a timber-frame ski lodge feel on a suburban budget. These trusses delivered that exact emotional impact.
Michael Johnson — Structural Inspector, Spokane, WA
Lightweight foam construction allowed mounting to standard roof trusses without hiring a structural engineer to recalculate dead loads.
Jennifer Wilson — General Superintendent, Boise, ID
Every piece was numbered and pre-notched. Our carpentry crew bolted the sections together on the floor and hoisted them up easily.

Preguntas frecuentes
- What is a faux wood truss?
A decorative truss made of lightweight material that reproduces the look of a timber roof truss.
- Are faux trusses structural?
No. They are decorative. The roof structure follows your engineer’s design.
- What truss styles can you make?
King post, queen post, scissor, arched and custom shapes drawn to your span.
- How heavy are they?
Far lighter than timber, which makes handling and fixing easier.
- Can they be stained or painted?
Yes. We finish them as stained wood, painted or distressed.
- Can they match my beams and mantel?
Yes. We coordinate the finish with faux wood beams and mantels from the same collection.
- Can trusses be used outdoors?
Yes. The coating resists moisture and UV, so they suit porches and covered pavilions.
- What do you need to quote trusses?
Span, pitch, number of trusses, style, finish and photos.
